03a34b2d25 lightnvm: pblk: improve error msg on corrupted LBAs
In the event of a mismatch between the read LBA and the metadata pointer
reported by the device, improve the error message to be able to detect
the offending physical address (PPA) mapped to the corrupted LBA.

1421dc6d48 powerpc/kbuild: Use flags variables rather than overriding LD/CC/AS
The powerpc toolchain can compile combinations of 32/64 bit and
big/little endian, so it's convenient to consider, e.g.,

  `CC -m64 -mbig-endian`

To be the C compiler for the purpose of invoking it to build target
artifacts. So overriding the CC variable to include these flags works
for this purpose.

Unfortunately that is not compatible with the way the proposed new
Kconfig macro language will work.

After previous patches in this series, these flags can be carefully
passed in using flags instead.

4bf4f42a2f powerpc/kbuild: Set default generic machine type for 32-bit compile
Some 64-bit toolchains uses the wrong ISA variant for compiling 32-bit
kernels, even with -m32. Debian's powerpc64le is one such case, and
that is because it is built with --with-cpu=power8.

So when cross compiling a 32-bit kernel with a 64-bit toolchain, set
-mcpu=powerpc initially, which is the generic 32-bit powerpc machine
type and scheduling model. CPU and platform code can override this
with subsequent -mcpu flags if necessary.

This is not done for 32-bit toolchains otherwise it would override
their defaults, which are presumably set appropriately for the
environment (moreso than a 64-bit cross compiler).

This fixes a lot of build failures due to incompatible assembly when
compiling 32-bit kernel with the Debian powerpc64le 64-bit toolchain.

d12e12299a ipvs: add ipv6 support to ftp
Add support for FTP commands with extended format (RFC 2428):

- FTP EPSV: IPv4 and IPv6, passive mode, similar to PASV.
EPSV response usually contains only port but we allow real

We restrict control and data connection to be from same
address family.

Allow the "(" and ")" to be optional in PASV response.

Also, add ipvsh argument to the pkt_in/pkt_out handlers to better

12de0a35c9 xhci: Add quirk to zero 64bit registers on Renesas PCIe controllers
Some Renesas controllers get into a weird state if they are reset while
programmed with 64bit addresses (they will preserve the top half of the
address in internal, non visible registers).

You end up with half the address coming from the kernel, and the other
half coming from the firmware.

Also, changing the programming leads to extra accesses even if the
controller is supposed to be halted. The controller ends up with a fatal
fault, and is then ripe for being properly reset. On the flip side,
this is completely unsafe if the defvice isn't behind an IOMMU, so
we have to make sure that this is the case. Can you say "broken"?

This is an alternative method to the one introduced in 8466489ef5
("xhci: Reset Renesas uPD72020x USB controller for 32-bit DMA issue"),
which will subsequently be removed.

ASoC: Intel: kbl: Move codec sysclk config to codec_init function
On APL, commit fd0f237572
("ASoC: Intel: bxt: Move codec sysclk config to codec_init function")
fixed an issue related to jack detection.

The MCLK for DA7219 does not change in this platform, but is
currently being configured everytime as part of the platform_clock
event handler for DAPM. The upshot of this is that we have
unnecessary calls to this function, and it also means that if
a stream hasn't yet been started, DA7219 driver does not have the
correct MCLK rates programmed and so the HP detection feature does
not operate as expected.

The same fix is needed on KBL.

This patch rectifies this issue by moving the sysclk call to
codec_init function so it's only called once at initialisation.

24298a218e staging: mt7621-gpio: change lock place in irq mask and unmask functions
Functions mediatek_gpio_irq_umask mediatek_gpio_irq_unmask are
reading and modifying registers but only the write is being hold.
It should be a complete lock instead for those which are type of
"read-modify-write". This makes more sense.

7efcce0430 staging: mt7621-gpio: avoid locking in mediatek_gpio_get_direction
mediatek_gpio_get_direction function is holding across a simple read
which it seems to be not neccessary at all. Just remove this locking
cleaning code of this function a bit.

e119216dea staging: mt7621-gpio: fix masks for gpio pin
BIT macro is being used to get mask for gpio's pin
which is retrieved using 'hwirq' from struct irq_data.
The problem here is that 'hwirq' can be as large as 95,
and 1UL << 95 is unlikely to work well. Instead of using
BIT macro use a new PIN_MASK macro which takes into account
pin and WIDTH of the bank in order to make a proper mask for
the gpio pin. Also 'd->hwirq' has been replaced by 'pin' in
some places because there was a 'pin' variable in changed
functions with the proper value. This improves readability.

ba64745694 staging: mt7621-gpio: use module_platform_driver() instead subsys initcall
The driver's init function don't do anything besides registering the platform
driver, and the exit function which is not included in the driver should only
do driver unregister. Because of this module_platform_driver() macro could
just be used instead of having separate functions.

Currently the macro is not being used because the driver is initialized at
subsys init call level but this isn't necessary since platform devices are
defined in the DT as dependencies so there's no need for init calls order.

e84ff3a22c staging: mt7621-gpio: rename MTK_MAX_BANK into MTK_BANK_CNT
There are 3 banks of gpios numbered '0' and '1' and '2'. So
the maximum bank number is "2". "3" is the count of banks.
In order to make the code looks and be correct on checking
max allowed gpio's id it makes sense to change the name of
this definition. Also there is another definitions which
start with the same prefix MKK_BANK_ of the new name so
having those with the same prefix makes all preprocessor
structure to be the same. This improves readability.
