BACKPORT: crypto: lib/sha1 - rename "sha" to "sha1"
The library implementation of the SHA-1 compression function is confusingly called just "sha_transform()". Alongside it are some "SHA_" constants and "sha_init()". Presumably these are left over from a time when SHA just meant SHA-1. But now there are also SHA-2 and SHA-3, and moreover SHA-1 is now considered insecure and thus shouldn't be used. Therefore, rename these functions and constants to make it very clear that they are for SHA-1. Also add a comment to make it clear that these shouldn't be used. For the extra-misleadingly named "SHA_MESSAGE_BYTES", rename it to SHA1_BLOCK_SIZE and define it to just '64' rather than '(512/8)' so that it matches the same definition in <crypto/sha.h>. This prepares for merging <linux/cryptohash.h> into <crypto/sha.h>. The MIPS Poly1305 implementation is generic MIPS code written such as to
support down to the original MIPS I and MIPS III ISA for the 32-bit and
64-bit variant respectively. Lift the current limitation then to enable
code for MIPSr1 ISA or newer processors only and have it available for
all MIPS processors.

UPSTREAM: crypto: jitter - SP800-90B compliance
SP800-90B specifies various requirements for the noise source(s) that may seed any DRNG including SP800-90A DRBGs. In November 2020, SP800-90B will be mandated for all noise sources that provide entropy to DRBGs as part of a FIPS 140-[2|3] validation or other evaluation types. Without SP800-90B compliance, a noise source is defined to always deliver zero bits of entropy. This patch ports the SP800-90B compliance from the user space Jitter RNG version 2.2.0. The following changes are applied: - addition of (an enhanced version of) the repetitive count test (RCT) from SP800-90B section 4.4.1 - the enhancement is due to the fact of using the stuck test as input to the RCT. - addition of the adaptive proportion test (APT) from SP800-90B section 4.4.2 - update of the power-on self test to perform a test measurement of 1024 noise samples compliant to SP800-90B section 4.3 - remove of the continuous random number generator test which is replaced by APT and RCT Health test failures due to the SP800-90B operation are only enforced in FIPS mode. If a runtime health test failure is detected, the Jitter RNG is reset. If more than 1024 resets in a row are performed, a permanent error is returned to the caller. UPSTREAM: crypto: poly1305 - add new 32 and 64-bit generic versions
These two C implementations from Zinc -- a 32x32 one and a 64x64 one, depending on the platform -- come from Andrew Moon's public domain poly1305-donna portable code, modified for usage in the kernel. The precomputation in the 32-bit version and the use of 64x64 multiplies in the 64-bit version make these perform better than the code it replaces. Moon's code is also very widespread and has received many eyeballs of scrutiny. There's a bit of interference between the x86 implementation, which relies on internal details of the old scalar implementation. In the next commit, the x86 implementation will be replaced with a faster one that doesn't rely on this, so none of this matters much. But for now, to keep this passing the tests, we inline the bits of the old implementation that the x86 implementation relied on. Also, since we now support a slightly larger key space, via the union, some offsets had to be fixed up. Nonce calculation was folded in with the emit function, to take advantage of 64x64 arithmetic. However, Adiantum appeared to rely on no nonce handling in emit, so this path was conditionalized. We also introduced a new struct, poly1305_core_key, to represent the precise amount of space that particular implementation uses. Testing with kbench9000, depending on the CPU, the update function for the 32x32 version has been improved by 4%-7%, and for the 64x64 by 19%-30%. The 32x32 gains are small, but I think there's great value in having a parallel implementation to the 64x64 one so that the two can be compared side-by-side as nice stand-alone units. UPSTREAM: crypto: curve25519 - x86_64 library and KPP implementations
This implementation is the fastest available x86_64 implementation, and
unlike Sandy2x, it doesn't requie use of the floating point registers at
all. Instead it makes use of BMI2 and ADX, available on recent
microarchitectures. The implementation was written by Armando
Faz-Hernández with contributions (upstream) from Samuel Neves and me,
in addition to further changes in the kernel implementation from us.

UPSTREAM: crypto: x86/poly1305 - depend on generic library not generic shash
Remove the dependency on the generic Poly1305 driver. Instead, depend on the generic library so that we only reuse code without pulling in the generic skcipher implementation as well. While at it, remove the logic that prefers the non-SIMD path for short inputs - this is no longer necessary after recent FPU handling changes on x86. Since this removes the last remaining user of the routines exported by the generic shash driver, unexport them and make them static. UPSTREAM: crypto: mips/chacha - wire up accelerated 32r2 code from Zinc
This integrates the accelerated MIPS 32r2 implementation of ChaCha into both the API and library interfaces of the kernel crypto stack. The significance of this is that, in addition to becoming available as an accelerated library implementation, it can also be used by existing crypto API code such as Adiantum (for block encryption on ultra low performance cores) or IPsec using chacha20poly1305. These are use cases that have already opted into using the abstract crypto API. In order to support Adiantum, the core assembler routine has been adapted to take the round count as a function argument rather than hardcoding it to 20. UPSTREAM: crypto: x86/chacha - depend on generic chacha library instead of crypto driver
In preparation of extending the x86 ChaCha driver to also expose the ChaCha library interface, drop the dependency on the chacha_generic crypto driver as a non-SIMD fallback, and depend on the generic ChaCha library directly. This way, we only pull in the code we actually need, without registering a set of ChaCha skciphers that we will never use. Since turning the FPU on and off is cheap these days, simplify the SIMD routine by dropping the per-page yield, which makes for a cleaner switch to the library API as well. This also allows use to invoke the skcipher walk routines in non-atomic mode. UPSTREAM: crypto: chacha - move existing library code into lib/crypto
Currently, our generic ChaCha implementation consists of a permute function in lib/chacha.c that operates on the 64-byte ChaCha state directly [and which is always included into the core kernel since it is used by the /dev/random driver], and the crypto API plumbing to expose it as a skcipher. In order to support in-kernel users that need the ChaCha streamcipher but have no need [or tolerance] for going through the abstractions of the crypto API, let's expose the streamcipher bits via a library API as well, in a way that permits the implementation to be superseded by an architecture specific one if provided. So move the streamcipher code into a separate module in lib/crypto, and expose the init() and crypt() routines to users of the library. crypto: algif_hash - fix double free in hash_accept
commit b2df03ed4052e97126267e8c13ad4204ea6ba9b6 upstream.
If accept(2) is called on socket type algif_hash with
MSG_MORE flag set and crypto_ahash_import fails,
sk2 is freed. However, it is also freed in af_alg_release,
leading to slab-use-after-free error.

crypto: null - Use spin lock instead of mutex
[ Upstream commit dcc47a028c24e793ce6d6efebfef1a1e92f80297 ] As the null algorithm may be freed in softirq context through af_alg, use spin locks instead of mutexes to protect the default null algorithm. crypto: testmgr - some more fixes to RSA test vectors
[ Upstream commit 9d2bb9a74b2877f100637d6ab5685bcd33c69d44 ]
Two more fixes:
* some test vectors in commit 79e6e2f3f3ff ("crypto: testmgr - populate
RSA CRT parameters in RSA test vectors") had misplaced commas, which
break the test and trigger KASAN warnings at least on x86-64
* pkcs1pad test vector did not have its CRT parameters

crypto: testmgr - populate RSA CRT parameters in RSA test vectors
[ Upstream commit 79e6e2f3f3ff345947075341781e900e4f70db81 ]
Changes from v1:
* replace some accidental spaces with tabs
In commit f145d411a67e ("crypto: rsa - implement Chinese Remainder Theorem
for faster private key operations") we have started to use the additional
primes and coefficients for RSA private key operations. However, these
additional parameters are not present (defined as 0 integers) in the RSA
test vectors.
Some parameters were borrowed from OpenSSL, so I was able to find the
source. I could not find the public source for 1 vector though, so had to
recover the parameters by implementing Appendix C from [1].

crypto: testmgr - fix version number of RSA tests
[ Upstream commit 0bb8f125253843c445b70fc6ef4fb21aa7b25625 ] According to PKCS#1 standard, the 'otherPrimeInfos' field contains the information for the additional primes r_3, ..., r_u, in order. It shall be omitted if the version is 0 and shall contain at least one instance of OtherPrimeInfo if the version is 1, see: https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc3447#page-44 Replace the version number '1' with 0, otherwise, some drivers may not pass the run-time tests. crypto: testmgr - Fix wrong test case of RSA
[ Upstream commit a9887010ed2da3fddaff83ceec80e2b71be8a966 ] According to the BER encoding rules, integer value should be encoded as two's complement, and if the highest bit of a positive integer is 1, should add a leading zero-octet. The kernel's built-in RSA algorithm cannot recognize negative numbers when parsing keys, so it can pass this test case. Export the key to file and run the following command to verify the fix result: openssl asn1parse -inform DER -in /path/to/key/file Signed-off-by: Lei He <helei.sig11@bytedance.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org> |

crypto: pcrypt - Call crypto layer directly when padata_do_parallel() return -EBUSY
[ Upstream commit 662f2f13e66d3883b9238b0b96b17886179e60e2 ]
Since commit 8f4f68e788c3 ("crypto: pcrypt - Fix hungtask for
PADATA_RESET"), the pcrypt encryption and decryption operations return
-EAGAIN when the CPU goes online or offline. In alg_test(), a WARN is
generated when pcrypt_aead_decrypt() or pcrypt_aead_encrypt() returns
-EAGAIN, the unnecessary panic will occur when panic_on_warn set 1.
Fix this issue by calling crypto layer directly without parallelization
in that case.

crypto: aead, cipher - zeroize key buffer after use
commit 23e4099bdc3c8381992f9eb975c79196d6755210 upstream. I.G 9.7.B for FIPS 140-3 specifies that variables temporarily holding cryptographic information should be zeroized once they are no longer needed. Accomplish this by using kfree_sensitive for buffers that previously held the private key. crypto: ecrdsa - Fix module auto-load on add_key
commit eb5739a1efbc9ff216271aeea0ebe1c92e5383e5 upstream. Add module alias with the algorithm cra_name similar to what we have for RSA-related and other algorithms. The kernel attempts to modprobe asymmetric algorithms using the names "crypto-$cra_name" and "crypto-$cra_name-all." However, since these aliases are currently missing, the modules are not loaded. For instance, when using the `add_key` function, the hash algorithm is typically loaded automatically, but the asymmetric algorithm is not. Steps to test: 1. Cert is generated usings ima-evm-utils test suite with `gen-keys.sh`, example cert is provided below: $ base64 -d >test-gost2012_512-A.cer <<EOF MIIB/DCCAWagAwIBAgIUK8+whWevr3FFkSdU9GLDAM7ure8wDAYIKoUDBwEBAwMFADARMQ8wDQYD VQQDDAZDQSBLZXkwIBcNMjIwMjAxMjIwOTQxWhgPMjA4MjEyMDUyMjA5NDFaMBExDzANBgNVBAMM BkNBIEtleTCBoDAXBggqhQMHAQEBAjALBgkqhQMHAQIBAgEDgYQABIGALXNrTJGgeErBUOov3Cfo IrHF9fcj8UjzwGeKCkbCcINzVUbdPmCopeJRHDJEvQBX1CQUPtlwDv6ANjTTRoq5nCk9L5PPFP1H z73JIXHT0eRBDVoWy0cWDRz1mmQlCnN2HThMtEloaQI81nTlKZOcEYDtDpi5WODmjEeRNQJMdqCj UDBOMAwGA1UdEwQFMAMBAf8wHQYDVR0OBBYEFCwfOITMbE9VisW1i2TYeu1tAo5QMB8GA1UdIwQY MBaAFCwfOITMbE9VisW1i2TYeu1tAo5QMAwGCCqFAwcBAQMDBQADgYEAmBfJCMTdC0/NSjz4BBiQ qDIEjomO7FEHYlkX5NGulcF8FaJW2jeyyXXtbpnub1IQ8af1KFIpwoS2e93LaaofxpWlpQLlju6m KYLOcO4xK3Whwa2hBAz9YbpUSFjvxnkS2/jpH2MsOSXuUEeCruG/RkHHB3ACef9umG6HCNQuAPY= EOF 2.
