msm: ipa3: SRAM NAT, DDR NAT, back-and-forth NAT
A new application level feature has NAT running out of SRAM, DDR, or both. The addtion of just this feature's header to the kernel will allow it to be propagated to older kernels, such that they can be compatible (in terms of structure size) with the new application level feature. ion: msm: Update the heap IDs as per the ION core standards
Update the heap IDs as per the standard imposed by the ION core (i.e.): SYSTEM_HEAP: (1 << 0) SYSTEM_CONTIG_HEAP: (1 << 1) CARVEOUT_HEAPS: [(1 << 2), (1 << 6)] CHUNK_HEAP: (1 << 7) CMA_HEAPS: [(1 << 8), (1 << 15)] VENDOR_HEAPS: [(1 << 16), (1 << 31)] Since the heap IDs are now bitmasks, as opposed to offsets within a bitmask, update the userspace ION_HEAP() macro/as well as the heap ID treatment in the kernel to account for this as well. ion: msm: Define heap IDs as constants in their own file
The ION heap IDs are also needed by the device-tree to provide the kernel with the heap ID for the heap that a device-tree entry describes. Currently, these IDs are hard-coded, which can be error-prone when updating the heap IDs. Thus, create a header that can also be accessed by the device-tree and userspace, and move the heap IDs to that header. This makes it so that the device-tree can now use the constants defined in the header, instead of hard-coded IDs, making updates significantly easier. ANDROID: staging: ion: reserve specific heap ids for known heap types.
Since its inception, ion used heap types and heap ids interchangeably. The 'heap type' is not part of the UAPI but 'heap ids' are. The sad part is that heap ids are dynamically generated and heap types aren't. This causes all sorts of problems trying to support following things 1. No UAPI breakage for ION in GKI 2. Support multiple CMA heaps (i.e. heap with same type but different ids) 3. Allow Android system code to reliably talk to any ION driver using the standard / reserved heap types. etc. 4. Allow someone to override standard heap implementation. 5. Allow for new heap types to register to ion core. With this change, we start the process of reserving heap ids for long known heap types like system, carveout etc. In order to not break ABI and UAPI, we continue to use 32-bits with following caveats 1. BIT(0)-BIT(15) are reserved for standard / GKI heap ids that Android platform can use from now on reliably. 2. BIT(16)-BIT(31) are reserved for custom heap types that only vendor specific processes can rely upon. 3. BIT(3)-BIT(7) are reserved for CARVEOUT heaps. 4. BIT(8)-BIT(15) are reserved for CMA / DMA heaps that manage different CMA regions. The heap ids will be allocated in ascending order and are first come first served. jffs2: Remove C++ style comments from uapi header
Linux kernel tolerates C++ style comments these days. Actually, the SPDX License tags for .c files start with //. On the other hand, uapi headers are written in more strict C, where the C++ comment style is forbidden. I simply dropped these lines instead of fixing the comment style. This code has been always commented out since it was added around Linux 2.4.9 (i.e. commented out for more than 17 years). 'Maybe later...' will never happen. staging: ion: refactor ion's heap API into linux/ion.h
Now that we know the APIs needed by system and cma heaps, refactor and move all those into linux/ion.h. Unfortunately, the UAPI of ion is now split into linux/ion.h and drivers/staging/android/uapi/ion.h since some of the UAPI leaks into heap implementation (ion flags). It can all be moved into linux/ion.h eventually for all android kernels. Bug: 133508579 Test: ion-unit-tests Change-Id: I73ea59b410c46a02e23f2da5c6bdc15182a50b32 Co-developed-by: Isaac J. netfilter: xt_nfacct: Fix alignment mismatch in xt_nfacct_match_info
When running a 64-bit kernel with a 32-bit iptables binary, the size of
the xt_nfacct_match_info struct diverges.
kernel: sizeof(struct xt_nfacct_match_info) : 40
iptables: sizeof(struct xt_nfacct_match_info)) : 36
Trying to append nfacct related rules results in an unhelpful message.
Although it is suggested to look for more information in dmesg, nothing
can be found there.
# iptables -A <chain> -m nfacct --nfacct-name <acct-object>
iptables: Invalid argument. Run `dmesg' for more information.
This patch fixes the memory misalignment by enforcing 8-byte alignment
within the struct's first revision. This solution is often used in many
other uapi netfilter headers.

Pull request for 5.3-rc3
- Fix a memory registration release flow issue that was causing a
WARN_ON (mlx5)
- If the counters for a port aren't allocated, then we can't do
operations on the non-existent counters (core)
- Check the right variable for error code result (mlx5)
- Fix a use after free issue (mlx5)
- Fix an off by one memory leak (siw)
- Actually return an error code on error (core)
- Allow siw to be built on 32bit arches (siw, ABI change, but OK since
siw was just merged this merge window and there is no prior released

Merge tag 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/rdma/rdma
Pull rdma fixes from Doug Ledford:
"Fairly small pull request for -rc3. I'm out of town the rest of this
week, so I made sure to clean out as much as possible from patchworks
in enough time for 0-day to chew through it (Yay! for 0-day being back
online! :-)). Jason might send through any emergency stuff that could
pop up, otherwise I'm back next week.
The only real thing of note is the siw ABI change. Since we just
merged siw *this* release, there are no prior kernel releases to
maintain kernel ABI with. I told Bernard that if there is anything
else about the siw ABI he thinks he might want to change before it
goes set in stone, he should get it in ASAP. The siw module was around
for several years outside the kernel tree, and it had to be revamped
considerably for inclusion upstream, so we are making no attempts to
be backward compatible with the out of tree version. Once 5.3 is
actually released, we will have our baseline ABI to maintain.
Summary:
- Fix a memory registration release flow issue that was causing a
WARN_ON (mlx5)
- If the counters for a port aren't allocated, then we can't do
operations on the non-existent counters (core)
- Check the right variable for error code result (mlx5)
- Fix a use after free issue (mlx5)
- Fix an off by one memory leak (siw)
- Actually return an error code on error (core)
- Allow siw to be built on 32bit arches (siw, ABI change, but OK
since siw was just merged this merge window and there is no prior
released kernel to maintain compatibility with and we also updated
the rdma-core user space package to match)"

RDMA/siw: Change CQ flags from 64->32 bits
This patch changes the driver/user shared (mmapped) CQ notification flags field from unsigned 64-bits size to unsigned 32-bits size. This enables building siw on 32-bit architectures. This patch changes the siw-abi, but as siw was only just merged in this merge window cycle, there are no released kernels with the prior abi. We are making no attempt to be binary compatible with siw user space libraries prior to the merge of siw into the upstream kernel, only moving forward with upstream kernels and upstream rdma-core provided siw libraries are we guaranteeing compatibility. sock: make cookie generation global instead of per netns
Generating and retrieving socket cookies are a useful feature that is exposed to BPF for various program types through bpf_get_socket_cookie() helper. The fact that the cookie counter is per netns is quite a limitation for BPF in practice in particular for programs in host namespace that use socket cookies as part of a map lookup key since they will be causing socket cookie collisions e.g. when attached to BPF cgroup hooks or cls_bpf on tc egress in host namespace handling container traffic from veth or ipvlan devices with peer in different netns. Change the counter to be global instead. Socket cookie consumers must assume the value as opqaue in any case. Not every socket must have a cookie generated and knowledge of the counter value itself does not provide much value either way hence conversion to global is fine.
