commit 60bcf728ee7c60ac2a1f9a0eaceb3a7b3954cd2b upstream. LLVM changed the expected function signatures for llvm_gcda_start_file() and llvm_gcda_emit_function() in the clang-11 release. Users of clang-11 or newer may have noticed their kernels failing to boot due to a panic when enabling CONFIG_GCOV_KERNEL=y +CONFIG_GCOV_PROFILE_ALL=y. Fix up the function signatures so calling these functions doesn't panic the kernel. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
