GPIOs that can be configured as wakeup are routed to the PDC wakeup interrupt controller and from there to the GIC interrupt controller. On some QCOM SoCs, the interface to the GIC for wakeup capable GPIOs have additional hardware registers that need to be configured as well to match the trigger type of the GPIO. This register interfaces the PDC to the GIC and therefore updated from the PDC driver. Typically, the firmware intializes the interface registers for the wakeup capable GPIOs with commonly used GPIO trigger type, but it is possible that a platform may want to use the GPIO differently. So, in addition to configuring the PDC, configure the interface registers as well. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
