commit b5fdf5c6e6bee35837e160c00ac89327bdad031b upstream.
The MAX-3421 USB driver remembers the state of the USB toggles for a
device/endpoint. To save SPI writes, this was only done when a new
device/endpoint was being used. Unfortunately, if the old device was
removed, this would cause writes to freed memory.
To fix this, a simpler scheme is used. The toggles are read from
hardware when a URB is completed, and the toggles are always written to
hardware when any URB transaction is started. This will cause a few more
SPI transactions, but no causes kernel panics.

The attribute-translator has to take in mind maxtype, that is

Currently, they can be only XFRMA_SPD_MAX (message XFRM_MSG_NEWSPDINFO),

This patch adds the missing NULL termination to the "bpf" and
"perf_event" object class permission lists.
This missing NULL termination should really only affect the tools
under scripts/selinux, with the most important being genheaders.c,
although in practice this has not been an issue on any of my dev/test
systems. If the problem were to manifest itself it would likely
result in bogus permissions added to the end of the object class;
thankfully with no access control checks using these bogus
permissions and no policies defining these permissions the impact
would likely be limited to some noise about undefined permissions
during policy load.

Currently the UDP protocol delivers GSO_FRAGLIST packets to
the sockets without the expected segmentation.
This change addresses the issue introducing and maintaining
a couple of new fields to explicitly accept SKB_GSO_UDP_L4
or GSO_FRAGLIST packets. Additionally updates udp_unexpected_gso()
accordingly.
UDP sockets enabling UDP_GRO stil keep accept_udp_fraglist
zeroed.

If NETIF_F_GRO_FRAGLIST or NETIF_F_GRO_UDP_FWD are enabled, and there
are UDP tunnels available in the system, udp_gro_receive() could end-up
doing L4 aggregation (either SKB_GSO_UDP_L4 or SKB_GSO_FRAGLIST) at
the outer UDP tunnel level for packets effectively carrying and UDP
tunnel header.
That could cause inner protocol corruption. If e.g. the relevant
packets carry a vxlan header, different vxlan ids will be ignored/
aggregated to the same GSO packet. Inner headers will be ignored, too,
so that e.g. TCP over vxlan push packets will be held in the GRO
engine till the next flush, etc.
Just skip the SKB_GSO_UDP_L4 and SKB_GSO_FRAGLIST code path if the
current packet could land in a UDP tunnel, and let udp_gro_receive()
do GRO via udp_sk(sk)->gro_receive.
The check implemented in this patch is broader than what is strictly
needed, as the existing UDP tunnel could be e.g. configured on top of
a different device: we could end-up skipping GRO at-all for some packets.
Anyhow, that is a very thin corner case and covering it will add quite
a bit of complexity.

- hopefully clarify the commit message

commit cbcf01128d0a92e131bd09f1688fe032480b65ca upstream.
unix_gc() assumes that candidate sockets can never gain an external
reference (i.e. be installed into an fd) while the unix_gc_lock is
held. Except for MSG_PEEK this is guaranteed by modifying inflight
count under the unix_gc_lock.
MSG_PEEK does not touch any variable protected by unix_gc_lock (file
count is not), yet it needs to be serialized with garbage collection.
Do this by locking/unlocking unix_gc_lock:
1) increment file count
2) lock/unlock barrier to make sure incremented file count is visible
to garbage collection
3) install file into fd
This is a lock barrier (unlike smp_mb()) that ensures that garbage
collection is run completely before or completely after the barrier.

Microsoft uses a touch digitizer that communicates to the main SoC via SPI
and presents itself as a HID device. This patch contains the changes needed
for the driver to work as a module: HID Core affordances for SPI devices,
addition of the new Device IDs, and a new quirk in hid-microsoft.

is_flush_rq() is called from bt_iter()/bt_tags_iter(), and runs the
following check:
hctx->fq->flush_rq == req
but the passed hctx from bt_iter()/bt_tags_iter() may be NULL because:
1) memory re-order in blk_mq_rq_ctx_init():
rq->mq_hctx = data->hctx;
...
refcount_set(&rq->ref, 1);
OR
2) tag re-use and ->rqs[] isn't updated with new request.
Fix the issue by re-writing is_flush_rq() as:
return rq->end_io == flush_end_io;
which turns out simpler to follow and immune to data race since we have
ordered WRITE rq->end_io and refcount_set(&rq->ref, 1).

refcount_inc_not_zero() in bt_tags_iter() still may read one freed
request.
Fix the issue by the following approach:
1) hold a per-tags spinlock when reading ->rqs[tag] and calling
refcount_inc_not_zero in bt_tags_iter()
2) clearing stale request referred via ->rqs[tag] before freeing
request pool, the per-tags spinlock is held for clearing stale
->rq[tag]
So after we cleared stale requests, bt_tags_iter() won't observe
freed request any more, also the clearing will wait for pending
request reference.
The idea of clearing ->rqs[] is borrowed from John Garry's previous
patch and one recent David's patch.

Grab rq->refcount before calling ->fn in blk_mq_tagset_busy_iter(), and
this way will prevent the request from being re-used when ->fn is
running. The approach is same as what we do during handling timeout.
Fix request use-after-free(UAF) related with completion race or queue
releasing:
- If one rq is referred before rq->q is frozen, then queue won't be
frozen before the request is released during iteration.
- If one rq is referred after rq->q is frozen, refcount_inc_not_zero()
will return false, and we won't iterate over this request.
However, still one request UAF not covered: refcount_inc_not_zero() may
read one freed request, and it will be handled in next patch.

No upstream commit, this is a fix to a stable 5.4 specific backport.
The intention of backport commit cac68d12c5 ("io_uring: grab ->fs as part
of async offload") as found in the stable 5.4 tree was to make
io_sq_wq_submit_work() to switch the workqueue task's ->fs over to the
submitting task's one during the IO operation.
However, due to a small logic error, this change turned out to not have any
actual effect. From a high level, the relevant code in
io_sq_wq_submit_work() looks like
old_fs_struct = current->fs;
do {
...
if (req->fs != current->fs && current->fs != old_fs_struct) {
task_lock(current);
if (req->fs)
current->fs = req->fs;
else
current->fs = old_fs_struct;
task_unlock(current);
}
...
} while (req);
The if condition is supposed to cover the case that current->fs doesn't
match what's needed for processing the request, but observe how it fails
to ever evaluate to true due to the second clause:
current->fs != old_fs_struct will be false in the first iteration as per
the initialization of old_fs_struct and because this prevents current->fs
from getting replaced, the same follows inductively for all subsequent
iterations.
Fix said if condition such that
- if req->fs is set and doesn't match current->fs, the latter will be
switched to the former
- or if req->fs is unset, the switch back to the initial old_fs_struct
will be made, if necessary.
While at it, also correct the condition for the ->fs related cleanup right
before the return of io_sq_wq_submit_work(): currently, old_fs_struct is
restored only if it's non-NULL. It is always non-NULL though and thus, the
if-condition is rendundant. Supposedly, the motivation had been to optimize
and avoid switching current->fs back to the initial old_fs_struct in case
it is found to have the desired value already. Make it so.

The page used to contain the fuse_dentry_canonical_path to be handled in
fuse_dev_do_write is allocated using __get_free_pages(GFP_KERNEL).
The returned page may contain undefined data, that by chance may be
considered as a valid path name that is not in the cache. In that case,
if the FUSE daemon mistakenly doesn't fill the canonical path buffer,
the FUSE driver may fall into two blocking
request_wait_answer(fuse_dev_write->kern_path->fuse_lookup_name)
causing a deadlock condition.
