The new kernel release format is: w.x.y-zz-k where,
w.x.y are the current values
zzz is the Android Release value
k is the KMI Generation number
This allows one to identify the kernel module interface version using
`uname -r`. The KMI Generation number is used to identify any KMI
changes that occur after the KMI freeze. This should only occur in an
unlikely event that a security patch requires a KMI update.
Here is a local example:

Currently, when symmetry is enabled, current redistribution occurs only
when a switch is turned on after being disabled initially. Enable
current redistribution to occur on the fly as long as a switch is
enabled. This applies to both torch and flash devices.
Illustrative example:
user0 user3 Torch0 Torch3 Comment
500 0 250 250 (average of user set values)
150 0 75 75 (150 + 0 / 2)
150 100 125 125 (150 + 100 / 2).

commit 4b661d6133c5d3a7c9aca0b4ee5a78c7766eff3f upstream.
ARM64_WORKAROUND_1418040 requires that AArch32 EL0 accesses to
the virtual counter register are trapped and emulated by the kernel.
This makes the vdso pretty pointless, and in some cases livelock
prone.
Provide a workaround entry that limits the vdso to 64bit tasks.

commit 97884ca8c2925d14c32188e865069f21378b4b4f upstream.
[this is a redesign rather than a backport, further hacked to
cope with Android half natve, half backport implementation]
We have a class of errata (grouped under the ARM64_WORKAROUND_1418040
banner) that force the trapping of counter access from 32bit EL0.
We would normally disable the whole vdso for such defect, except that
it would disable it for 64bit userspace as well, which is a shame.
Instead, add a new vdso_clock_mode, which signals that the vdso
isn't usable for compat tasks. This gets checked in the new
vdso_clocksource_ok() helper, now provided for the 32bit vdso.

There is a new scheme recommended in PM8350B 2.0 haptics module for
getting close-loop LRA period. There are 4 situations need to be
considered depending on if auto mode RC CLK calibration is used
and if auto resonance calibration is done during the playing. In
each situation, different status values and equations are used for
calculating close-loop LRA period. Update the driver to support this.

HAPTICS module controls the output voltage of HAPTICS_BOOST module
through hardware signals when playing a vibration. During FIFO mode
playing, HAPTICS module would request HAPTICS_BOOST module to turn
on/off the output based on FIFO empty status. HAPTICS_BOOST is turned
off when FIFO is empty and it's turned on again when more FIFO samples
are filled.
During this voltage transition request (off->on), HAPTICS_BOOST module
may have a race condition if this requests comes in rapid succession.
This can lead to its FSM getting stuck. To avoid this race condition,
notify HAPTICS_BOOST module to keep the output enabled until the
playing is stopped. This is done by triggering a PBS sequence through
a SDAM module.

The Zero C sensor reports TSENS controller min temperature as its
sensor value to the thermal framework. It requires a low trip
monitor governor in thermal framework to monitor cold
temperature condition.
Instead of min temp value, use TSENS Zero C interrupt status as
sensor value. It removes the need for cold trip monitoring
governor and uses the existing governors to monitor the cold trip
condition and trigger mitigation.
