ec1b6ab9fe BACKPORT: blk-mq: fix is_flush_rq
is_flush_rq() is called from bt_iter()/bt_tags_iter(), and runs the
following check:

	hctx->fq->flush_rq == req

but the passed hctx from bt_iter()/bt_tags_iter() may be NULL because:

1) memory re-order in blk_mq_rq_ctx_init():

	rq->mq_hctx = data->hctx;
	...
	refcount_set(&rq->ref, 1);

OR

2) tag re-use and ->rqs[] isn't updated with new request.

Fix the issue by re-writing is_flush_rq() as:

	return rq->end_io == flush_end_io;

which turns out simpler to follow and immune to data race since we have
ordered WRITE rq->end_io and refcount_set(&rq->ref, 1).

bb96e7f45d BACKPORT: blk-mq: clear stale request in tags->rq[] before freeing one request pool
refcount_inc_not_zero() in bt_tags_iter() still may read one freed
request.

Fix the issue by the following approach:

1) hold a per-tags spinlock when reading ->rqs[tag] and calling
refcount_inc_not_zero in bt_tags_iter()

2) clearing stale request referred via ->rqs[tag] before freeing
request pool, the per-tags spinlock is held for clearing stale
->rq[tag]

So after we cleared stale requests, bt_tags_iter() won't observe
freed request any more, also the clearing will wait for pending
request reference.

The idea of clearing ->rqs[] is borrowed from John Garry's previous
patch and one recent David's patch.

a5d38e7c26 BACKPORT: blk-mq: grab rq->refcount before calling ->fn in blk_mq_tagset_busy_iter
Grab rq->refcount before calling ->fn in blk_mq_tagset_busy_iter(), and
this way will prevent the request from being re-used when ->fn is
running. The approach is same as what we do during handling timeout.

Fix request use-after-free(UAF) related with completion race or queue
releasing:

- If one rq is referred before rq->q is frozen, then queue won't be
frozen before the request is released during iteration.

- If one rq is referred after rq->q is frozen, refcount_inc_not_zero()
will return false, and we won't iterate over this request.

However, still one request UAF not covered: refcount_inc_not_zero() may
read one freed request, and it will be handled in next patch.

bf4d02ab1e UPSTREAM: io_uring: Fix current->fs handling in io_sq_wq_submit_work()
No upstream commit, this is a fix to a stable 5.4 specific backport.

The intention of backport commit cac68d12c5 ("io_uring: grab ->fs as part
of async offload") as found in the stable 5.4 tree was to make
io_sq_wq_submit_work() to switch the workqueue task's ->fs over to the
submitting task's one during the IO operation.

However, due to a small logic error, this change turned out to not have any
actual effect. From a high level, the relevant code in
io_sq_wq_submit_work() looks like

  old_fs_struct = current->fs;
  do {
          ...
          if (req->fs != current->fs && current->fs != old_fs_struct) {
                  task_lock(current);
                  if (req->fs)
                          current->fs = req->fs;
                  else
                          current->fs = old_fs_struct;
                  task_unlock(current);
          }
          ...
  } while (req);

The if condition is supposed to cover the case that current->fs doesn't
match what's needed for processing the request, but observe how it fails
to ever evaluate to true due to the second clause:
current->fs != old_fs_struct will be false in the first iteration as per
the initialization of old_fs_struct and because this prevents current->fs
from getting replaced, the same follows inductively for all subsequent
iterations.

Fix said if condition such that
- if req->fs is set and doesn't match current->fs, the latter will be
  switched to the former
- or if req->fs is unset, the switch back to the initial old_fs_struct
  will be made, if necessary.

While at it, also correct the condition for the ->fs related cleanup right
before the return of io_sq_wq_submit_work(): currently, old_fs_struct is
restored only if it's non-NULL. It is always non-NULL though and thus, the
if-condition is rendundant. Supposedly, the motivation had been to optimize
and avoid switching current->fs back to the initial old_fs_struct in case
it is found to have the desired value already. Make it so.

8afacb8faf ANDROID: GKI: add padding to struct hid_device
struct hid_device was not being tracked as a "stable" symbol in the
past, but that looks to change with some future abi requirements. So
add needed padding now, to ensure that we can support this over the
long-term.

This does not change the existing api at all as this symbol was not
supported yet.

ANDROID: generate_initcall_order.pl: Use two dash long options for llvm-nm
Commit 96e9bc424475 ("[llvm-nm] Remove one-dash long options except
-arch") in LLVM removed the one dash long options, which causes this
script to fail and initcalls not to get ordered properly, which
manifests as kernels crashing durin boot.

Use the two dash long options as the LLVM commit mentions that the
documentation and help text have always shown them over the one dash
long versions. This is not an issue with the mainline LTO series as it
used two dash long options.

e9602efecf MIPS: vdso: Invalid GIC access through VDSO
[ Upstream commit 47ce8527fbba145a7723685bc9a27d9855e06491 ]

Accessing raw timers (currently only CLOCK_MONOTONIC_RAW) through VDSO
doesn't return the correct time when using the GIC as clock source.
The address of the GIC mapped page is in this case not calculated
correctly. The GIC mapped page is calculated from the VDSO data by
subtracting PAGE_SIZE:

  void *get_gic(const struct vdso_data *data) {
    return (void __iomem *)data - PAGE_SIZE;
  }

However, the data pointer is not page aligned for raw clock sources.
This is because the VDSO data for raw clock sources (CS_RAW = 1) is
stored after the VDSO data for coarse clock sources (CS_HRES_COARSE = 0).
Therefore, only the VDSO data for CS_HRES_COARSE is page aligned:

  +--------------------+
  |                    |
  | vd[CS_RAW]         | ---+
  | vd[CS_HRES_COARSE] |    |
  +--------------------+    | -PAGE_SIZE
  |                    |    |
  |  GIC mapped page   | <--+
  |                    |
  +--------------------+

When __arch_get_hw_counter() is called with &vd[CS_RAW], get_gic returns
the wrong address (somewhere inside the GIC mapped page). The GIC counter
values are not returned which results in an invalid time.

d8afab9bc9 mips: always link byteswap helpers into decompressor
[ Upstream commit cddc40f5617e53f97ef019d5b29c1bd6cbb031ec ]

My series to clean up the unaligned access implementation
across architectures caused some mips randconfig builds to
fail with:

   mips64-linux-ld: arch/mips/boot/compressed/decompress.o: in function `decompress_kernel':
   decompress.c:(.text.decompress_kernel+0x54): undefined reference to `__bswapsi2'

It turns out that this problem has already been fixed for the XZ
decompressor but now it also shows up in (at least) LZO and LZ4. From my
analysis I concluded that the compiler could always have emitted those
calls, but the different implementation allowed it to make otherwise
better decisions about not inlining the byteswap, which results in the
link error when the out-of-line code is missing.

While it could be addressed by adding it to the two decompressor
implementations that are known to be affected, but as this only adds
112 bytes to the kernel, the safer choice is to always add them.

cc10a352e2 firmware: arm_scmi: Reset Rx buffer to max size during async commands
[ Upstream commit 0cb7af474e0dbb2f500c67aa62b6db9fafa74de2 ]

During an async commands execution the Rx buffer length is at first set
to max_msg_sz when the synchronous part of the command is first sent.
However once the synchronous part completes the transport layer waits
for the delayed response which will be processed using the same xfer
descriptor initially allocated. Since synchronous response received at
the end of the xfer will shrink the Rx buffer length to the effective
payload response length, it needs to be reset again.

Raise the Rx buffer length again to max_msg_sz before fetching the
delayed response to ensure full response is read correctly from the
shared memory.
